The bokken (or bokuto) is a wooden sword which is used to practise Aikiken techniques.

Traditional Japanese divided skirt, worn by both men and women. In Aikido, teachers and advanced students wear it during practice.
Wooden staff which is used to practise Aikido techniques or katas (in the old days it was the peasants' weapon of choice).
