Information for Seminar Participants
Food
During weekend seminars, we usually book a table in a nearby restaurant for Saturday lunch. You are of course welcome to provide your own meal. At most seminars we have a party at the dojo on Saturday evening for which we invite you to contribute something to eat (please check the flyer).
Next shopping possibilities from the Oberursel dojo are EDEKA supermarket (Mon – Sat, 8 am – 9 pm) and REWE supermarket (Mon – Sat, 7 am – 11:30 pm). The ARAL petrol station in Weißkirchen has a 24/7 shop.
Commuting between Bad Homburg and Oberursel
Our recommendation: it is a very affordable distance for taking/sharing a taxi.
Go to RMV website for public transport connections between Bad Homburg and Oberursel. Please enter as starting point "Rathausstrasse 13, Bad Homburg" and as target "Oberursel-Weißkirchen Stadtwerke".
Usually, it will be possible to get a ride with one of our dojo members—please ask us.

Accommodation options in Bad Homburg
In the near-by area and for seminars with all classes at our Bad Homburg dojo you may look for accommodations in Bad Homburg. To the Oberursel dojo it is about 10 mins by car, public transport times depend on route.
The dojo is located in the city center, so that there are many shopping possibilities within walking distance, e.g. a REWE supermarket just up the street (Mon – Sat, 7 am – 9:30 pm). Please note that on Sundays shops are closed in Germany.
The Bad Homburg Youth Hostel is very close – it is only a 7-minutes walk from the dojo.
