Aikido seminar with Cécile Rayroles
(4 – 6 June 2027)
Cécile Rayroles puts first the joy that can be found in practice. She is particularly interested in the possibility of working on demanding and precise techniques while creating the time and space for a meaningful form of communication with one’s partner. For her, this combination of technical rigour, connection and adaptability allows each aikidoka to develop individually while also bringing the group together.
Cécile started practising aikido as a teenager in Normandy in 1996. In the early 2000s, she settled near the Cercle Tissier and has since been following the teaching of Christian Tissier shihan.
She also studies with other senior instructors to broaden her practice and perspective, including Micheline Vaillant-Tissier shihan, Tsuruzo Miyamoto shihan and Yoko Okamoto shihan.
Cécile holds a 5th dan and a DEJEPS French State Diploma in Aikido. She is a member of the French National Technical College of the FFAAA and works with the Federation’s Women’s Commission. She is also the FFAAA representative to the Gender Balance Working Group of the International Aikido Federation (IAF) and the European Aikido Federation (EAF).
Cécile is the founder and head instructor of the Aikido du Plateau dojo near Paris.
